Zinc Plus Syrup

Kinder Zinc Plus Syrup contains zinc along with B vitamins and vitamin C, which helps meet the needs and improve the growth of children and adolescents.

Zinc:
Zinc is an important element in nutrition, with a wide range of biological roles and is essential for the function of approximately 100 enzymes. Zinc is present in all organs, tissues, fluids and secretions of the body and is essential for the synthesis of proteins and DNA, cell division and growth and development at different stages of life. Unfortunately, the prevalence of moderate to severe zinc deficiency is high in developing countries, including Iran.

Increases appetite and improves growth: Zinc supports growth and development during pregnancy, childhood and adolescence. Zinc deficiency is associated with decreased sense of taste and smell, anorexia and growth retardation. The most obvious sign of zinc deficiency in children is decreased growth and anorexia. Zinc supplementation in prepubescent children has a positive effect on growth and serum zinc concentration, especially in short and underweight children. Delayed development of sexual organs and impotence are also other signs of zinc deficiency in the body. Zinc is one of the most important minerals found in bones and plays an important role in stimulating bone-forming cells and forming bone mass. Since the body has few zinc reserves, this mineral must be consumed daily.

Strengthening the immune system: Getting sufficient amounts of zinc strengthens the function of the immune system, as zinc deficiency leads to a weakened immune system and, in more severe cases, an increased risk of infections and diarrhea.

Maintaining healthy skin, hair and nails: Zinc actively participates in the skin repair process and is also effective in treating inflammation and skin disorders, especially during adolescence and puberty. Deficiency or reduction in zinc levels in the body is one of the main factors causing wounds. Zinc is also effective in the rapid healing of wounds, especially when there are injuries caused by burns or wounds caused by surgery on the body, zinc consumption is helpful.

B vitamins:
They are a group of water-soluble vitamins that strengthen the nervous system and promote healthy skin, hair, and nails. B vitamins play a key role in the metabolism of sugars, fats, and proteins and the production of energy. A deficiency in this group of vitamins is associated with loss of appetite, weight loss, weakness, and lethargy. Folic acid (vitamin B9) and vitamin B12 are also essential for the synthesis of DNA, normal cell division, and the formation of red blood cells, which is why a deficiency in these two vitamins causes megaloblastic anemia.

Vitamin C:
Vitamin C is an antioxidant vitamin that strengthens the immune system. It also helps in the production of collagen, the main protein in skin, bones, cartilage, and tendons. Vitamin C also increases the absorption of zinc.
